ENTERTAINMENT: Wizkid Misses Out on Grammy Nominations

Wizkid and his fans, known as “FC,” had a rough Sunday when the Nigerian afrobeat sensation, Ayodeji Balogun, lost at the 64th Grammy Awards in the categories of best World Music Album and best worldwide single.

At the 2022 Grammy Awards, the legendary singer, songwriter, and performer was nominated in two categories: Best Global Music Album and Best Global Music Performance.

Every year, the Grammy Awards are perhaps the largest night in the music industry, as the crème de la creme gathers to honor the top talents of the previous year. It took place at the MGM Garden Arena in Las Vegas today, March 3rd, 2022.

Wizkid fans have tipped him to win at least one of the two nominated positions, but it failed to happen as other singers claimed the awards.
