Nathaniel Bassey, a prominent Nigerian gospel artist, has encouraged couples to pray and double-check their relationships before getting married.
While reacting to the death of singer Osinachi Nwachukwu, the brilliant singer stated that while marriage is good, it should not be forced.
He hoped that God would provide the grace to individuals in abusive marriages to make the right decision.
“In the last several weeks, I’ve had to share some really difficult postings,” he wrote on Instagram. Posts on excellent gospel ministers that have passed away. I went to two young people’s music services. And the harsh realities of life are right in front of you. Although death is unavoidable, we do not pray for it ahead of time.
“However, hearing the circumstances surrounding our sister’s death has been quite irritating.” One whose worshipful voice thundered and resonated forcefully.
“I recall her greeting me with a smile and humility whenever we had to minister at worship gatherings.” But now she’s with our lord. But I have to say, it’s a little early.
“MAY YOU NOT MARRY YOUR ENEMY,” I say again to my friends, “and that you do not become an ENEMY to someone else.” In the name of Jesus. Marriage is a good and honorable institution. But not through coercion. SHINE YOUR EYES, those about to marriage. Love is not deafening. God is love, after all. And God is not deafeningly deaf.
“For your sake we are killed every day; we are being slaughtered like sheep.”) No, despite all these things, overwhelming victory is ours through Christ, who loved us. ”Romans 8:35-37 NLT.”
