Bella Shmurda, a popular artist, has revealed that he dropped out of Lagos State University (LASU) to pursue his music career.

In a tweet, the 24-year-old claimed he has no regrets about his decision.

While celebrating 550 million streams on music charts, the music singer made the remarks.

He claimed that if he hadn’t dropped out of school, he would’ve been broke and fighting with debt.

“Thank God I was stubborn, because I never got to pass those examinations back then,” he tweeted. Pocolee deserves a shoutout for telling me to do the Vision2020 viral video, and Olamide deserves a shoutout for his listening ears and open arms for upcoming acts.”

“I’m now worth almost half a billion streams,” says the narrator (550millions streams to be precise).

I’m still trapped with nothing in my pocket since I’m still Dey LASU dey schmooze with carryovers… “I’ll be eternally grateful that I did my thing.”

Bella became famous after releasing his debut track ‘Vision 2020,’ which included Olamide in a remix version.

Since then, he’s released successful songs including Cash App, which he co-wrote with Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

Bella Shmurda was also nominated for a Headies Award in 2020 for the next rated artiste.
