Effy Has Released Her Debut EP, ‘Not What It Seems’. On Wednesday, July 29th, the UK DJ and producer released the four-track, which features the singles ‘Run It’ with Mall Grab and ‘Not Yours,’ as well as two new singles titled ‘Trip To Reality’ and ‘Vexed’. Listen below.
In a statement accompanying the release, the London-based artist said: “This is my debut EP so I have tried to encapsulate all of my sounds in one short project. Techno, breakbeat, bass and some more softer melodic stuff.”
“This project was mostly inspired by the feelings I had when clubs opened after the pandemic and finding my confidence as a DJ and artist,” she added.
Effy Has Released Her Debut EP, ‘Not What It Seems’. Off the back of appearances at Terminal V and Parklife, Effy – who previously featured among some of DJ Mag’s emerging artists to watch in late 2020 – will perform at the likes of Junction 2 and Ibiza’s Amnesia in the coming weeks.
