Nigerian artists have joined others in showing their dissatisfaction with the country’s current status.
Toke Makinwa expressed her dissatisfaction with the quality of Nigeria’s electricity supply on Twitter, asking where the country’s hope lies.
Despite the exorbitant cost of diesel, she claims that her generator has been operating since Tuesday morning.
“800 nairas per liter of diesel, my generator has been running since yesterday am, Nigeria…which way to go o?” she wrote in her tweet.
Davido, on the other hand, requested prayers for Nigeria while expressing his dissatisfaction with the sum he spent to clear his Lamborghini.
“You don’t even want to know how much I just paid to clear my Lambo,” Davido tweeted. “Jesus, pray for Nigeria.”
Following the failure of the national grid, several regions of the country have been left in complete darkness.
Despite assurances from the Minister of Power, Abubakar Aliyu, that a solution to the nation’s epileptic supply would be found, the high cost of fuel and gasoline has aggravated Nigerians’ situation.
