Cristiano Ronaldo, a Manchester United forward, became the first person in the world to reach 400 million Instagram followers.

In January 2020, the 37-year-old became the first person to reach 200 million followers on Instagram.

In just over two years, Ronaldo’s net worth has doubled.

He usually talks about his family, sport, and the odd promotion of his record label, CR7.

The captain of Portugal is only second to Instagram’s official account, which has 469 million followers as of February 7.

With 300 million followers, Lionel Messi is the second most popular footballer.
