While his role on the Hulu drama miniseries was a big “growing opportunity” and his biggest wish is just to “work” as an actor, the 26-year-old actor – who is best known for starring alongside Elle Fanning in ‘The Girl from Plainville’ – revealed that he is “dreaming” about a role in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
“From an aesthetic and personal standpoint, this was one of the most significant growth experiences I’ve ever had,” he added. We shot this during Delta and Omicron, when it was difficult to find methods to feel useful as an artist because the world was looking the other way.
“I simply want to work on that level where it feels deliberate, but I’m not wishing for it.” I’m not dreaming about it, aside from the MCU. “I’m not making any plans.”
The ‘Little Voice’ star, who has also appeared in Broadway musicals such as ‘Dear Evan Hansen’ and ‘Girl from the North Country,’ as well as on TV’s ‘Heartland,’ was then asked whether he would prefer to play a hero or villain in the comic book-based franchise, but admitted that both would be “fulfilling a lifelong dream.”
“It’s simpler to say hero since it’s a six-movie deal,” he told Collider. The villain, on the other hand, can be more intriguing. I’m not sure. It depends on whether or not it is intellectually based and anchored. In any case, I’d be realizing a lifetime ambition.
