The 63-year-old actress plays Ramonda, the Queen Mother of Wakanda, in the next superhero film ‘Black Panther: Wakanda Forever,’ which is a sequel to the multi-Oscar-winning 2018 blockbuster, and she guaranteed fans that the film will “surpass” its predecessor but she couldn’t divulge particular specifics.
“It’ll be incredible,” she predicted. Ryan Coogler, our writer and director, is the ideal leader. It’s going to be incredible. It’s going to be even better than [the first]. “Am I allowed to say that?”
The ‘9-1-1’ actress, who co-stars in the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s 30th film with Lupita Nyong’o, Danai Gurira, and Martin Freeman, was tight-lipped about any plot information.
“I can’t tell you a single thing about it,” she said. In November, look for it!”
Angela went on to pay respect to Chadwick Boseman, who died in 2020 at the age of 43 after a battle with illness, saying that the unfortunate actor was such a “inspiration” to everyone on site because of his “large heart” and “amazing intelligence.”
“He was such an example, such a leader, a tremendous talent – we all know that!” she stated on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show.” We only aim to enhance his standard since he has a big heart, a big heart, and a terrific mind.”
The first ‘Black Panther’ picture was nominated for seven Academy Awards, winning three of them, and grossing $1.3 billion at the box office globally.
On November 11th, 2022, ‘Black Panther: Wakanda Forever’ will be released in theaters.
