In his upcoming biopic, Daniel Radcliffe plays the parody song legend, and now the 34-year-old actress has joined the cast as The Queen of Pop, wowing audiences with her transformation into the 63-year-old music superstar.
Evan posted a photo of her wearing the lace wedding gown-style attire, replete with stacked jewelry and cross earrings, that Madonna wore in her 1984 smash music video for ‘Like a Virgin,’ a song that Al memorably ridiculed and renamed ‘Like a Surgeon.’

“When my last movie, ‘UHF,’ came out in 1989, I made a serious commitment to my fans that I would release a major motion picture every 33 years, like clockwork,” Al stated of the project. I’m pleased to report that we’re on track.
“I’m also overjoyed that Daniel Radcliffe will be playing me in the film.” I have no doubt that this will be the role for which future generations remember him.”
The film is currently under production in Los Angeles, and it will be available exclusively on The Roku Channel.
“Clearly, there aren’t many biopic movies about great musicians,” Colin Davis, Roku’s president of original scripted content, said. “We were pleased to cast a light on the incredibly real, unexaggerated biography of Weird Al.”
“This is truly the ultimate combination of skill, creativity, and friends coming together to create something truly hilarious, and we couldn’t be more happy to declare this film a Roku Original.”
The film’s writer and director, Eric Appel, leaped at the chance to make a film on Weird Al’s life.
“I didn’t believe any of it when Weird Al sat me down against my will and told me his life story,” Eric said, “but I knew we had to make a movie about it.”
