NEWS: The peace talks between Russia and Ukraine have broken down, and Putin has declared a new onslaught against Kiev

After unsuccessful ceasefire talks with Ukraine, Russia has vowed that the offensive will restart.

According to Aljezeera, the Kremlin stated that Russian forces have resumed their advance into Ukraine after President Vladimir Putin purportedly delayed Moscow’s operation in expectation of failing talks with Ukraine.

Dmitry Peskov, speaking to reporters at a press conference in the Kremlin, accused Ukraine’s government of “refusing to negotiate.”

Remember that Peskov announced on Friday that Russian President Vladimir Putin was willing to send a group of officials to Belarus, where Russia has thousands of troops stationed, for discussions.

Later, he stated that Kyiv had proposed Warsaw as a venue instead, and that talks over a possible meeting had broken down because the Ukrainian side had gone silent.

“The Russian military began their advance this afternoon because the Ukrainian side refused to negotiate,” Peskov said at a news conference on Saturday.
