Asamoah Gyan, a former Ghana striker, has conceded that the 2022 World Cup playoffs between his country and Nigeria, which will take place next month, might go either way.
Because of the long-standing rivalry between the two West African countries, Gyan noted that the tie is tough to forecast.
“You can’t foresee what will happen between Ghana and Nigeria,” he said TV3.
“Anyone can win; all we have to do is stay focused and do our jobs on the field.”
Gyan, by the way, was the match winner for the Black Stars against Nigeria at the 2010 AFCON in Angola.
On March 24, Ghana will host Nigeria, with the reverse match taking place three days later in Abuja.
