Cristiano Ronaldo, the Manchester United star, has stated that he will never put pressure on his eldest son, Cristiano Jr., to follow in his footsteps and seek a professional football career.
Cristiano Jr. was recently dubbed the ‘present and future’ by Ronaldo after he shared photos on Instagram of him and his kid playing football together.
The 36-year-old was spotted racing around the pitch topless, while his kid, who joined Man United’s academy when his father made a remarkable comeback last summer, wore the club’s training top.
During girlfriend Georgina Rodriguez’s new Netflix documentary, ‘I Am Georgina,’ Ronaldo revealed his support for his children.
“Only time will tell,” Ronaldo stated of Cristiano Jr.’s decision to pursue a football career at the age of 11. I’ll never put any pressure on him. He’ll go ahead and do whatever he wants.
“Also, what I most desire for Cristianito and everyone else is for them to be happy and to be able to choose what they want,” he continued. I will help him in every way I can.”
Ronaldo has three other children: Eva Maria, Mateo, and Alana Martina, who is four years old.
