Habeeb Okikiola, also known as Portable, a fast-rising Nigerian artist, has apologized to Kenyans for a video he shared earlier.
Portable, who is presently in Kenya, was shown in a video on Sunday mocking a woman who left out on him after he told her he wasn’t available for ‘hook up.’
The word “hook up” refers to the connection that exists between commercial sex workers and their clients.
Following the video, Maureen Imbai, also known as Black Cinderella, a Kenyan radio host, called him out on Monday for ’embarrassing’ the country.
A few hours later, the Zazzu crooner made a U-turn and apologized to Kenyans while sharing another video of himself.
Our source discovered that the singer had removed the ‘hook up’ video he had posted.
Portable recently requested Kenyans to forgive him while speaking in Yoruba in an Instagram video.
He added captions to the video, saying,
Stop asking men for money before sleeping with them; a man’s plan for you could be far more than what you charge Bizza Bizza.
Sorry for everything, I just thought the video was humorous. I adore Kenyan females because they keep dancing to my songs and showing love even when they don’t understand my language.
