The 2021 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) semi-final schedule has been released.
This follows the conclusion of the AFCON quarter-final matches on Sunday.
After 120 minutes, Egypt defeated Morocco 2-1 to send them packing. After 90 minutes, the game ended in a 1-1 draw.
Egypt’s two goals came from Mohamed Salah and Trezeguet, while Morocco’s solitary goal came from Sofiane Boufal, who scored a penalty in the first half.
Senegal also eliminated Equatorial Guinea from the contention with a 3-1 victory.
Cameroon, however, overcame Gambia on Saturday, while Burkina Faso beat Tunisia.
Egypt will meet Cameroon in the AFCON semi-final on Thursday night, while Burkina Faso will face Senegal on Wednesday.
