Samuel Kalu, a Super Eagles forward, has sealed a move from Bordeaux in the French Ligue 1 to Watford in the Premier League.
The relegation-threatened club announced a contract extension until June 2025.
Kalu is the club’s fourth January signing and the fourth Super Eagles player to join them at Vicarage Road.
Watford signed Hassane Kamara, Samir, and Edo Kayembe in January, and they already had Nigerians Ogenekoro Etebo, William Troost-Ekong, and Emmanuel Dennis on their books.
The 24-year-old joins the Hornets after three and a half years in France’s top flight, where he scored nine goals, according to a statement on the club’s official website.
“A flexible option in a competitive side, Kalu can play on either flank and is most often found on the right wing.”
