The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board, or JAMB, has announced the start date for the 2022 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination and the Direct Entry examination, or DE registration.
The registration exercise will begin in February 2022, according to JAMB’s Director of Public Relations, Dr Fabian Benjamin, who made the news on Monday.
The UTME/DE registration will begin on February 12, 2022, and end on March 19, according to the Board’s weekly bulletin given to 360MEDIA.
In another incident, the bulletin disclosed that a guilty candidate named Mr. Timipade Kemepade wrote to the Board, requesting pardon for his role in examination misconduct twenty-one years ago when he took the exam.
The remorseful Nigerian blamed his misbehavior on young exuberance in a letter written to JAMB headed “Restitution on my JAMB Result 21 Years Ago.”
The apologies and subsequent admission of guilt are “rejected in its entirety and are, therefore, not acceptable,” according to the Board’s response to Mr. Kemepade.
