When there is calm in the country, no one remembers the security agencies, according to Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde.
People frequently question the existence of security services in the country only when there are security breaches, according to Makinde, who spoke on Thursday in Ibadan.
The governor made these remarks during the official ground-breaking ceremony for the Air Force Base in Ajia, Ibadan.
The Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal Isiaka Oladayo Amao, Makinde’s deputy, Engineer Rauf Olaniyan, and the state House of Assembly’s Deputy Speaker, Hon. Muhammad Abiodun Fadeyi, were also there.
