Last season, James Maddison demonstrated in every aspect just how brilliant of a player he is for Leicester City. The English CAM played in a total of 52 matches last campaign, during which he scored 18 goals and made 12 assists.
The 25 year old attacking midfielder was one of the shining lights in English football last year. Because of this, a number of clubs have been knocking on the door this summer. Amongst them, the team that has shown most serious interest in him up until now is Newcastle United. According to ‘The Sun’, The Foxes have rejected a 40 million pound bid for him from The Magpies in recent hours.
